Environmental Service Director to supervise the housekeeping and laundry department at a nursing and rehabilitation facility.
Duties include supervision of ten to twelve people, scheduling shifts, managing and overseeing the work, purchasing supplies, attending meetings, and presenting reports on their department. Approximately ten percent of the time may involve hands-on in housekeeping duties if needed due to an employee’s absence.
After a temp-to-hire period, the salary is $40,000 or more based on experience. The ideal candidate is someone with management experience or lead housekeeping for a hotel. Hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible but must be able to come in early, work late, and on weekends if needed.
Hourly pay during temp-to-hire period is $17.00 to $20.00 depending on experience.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
