Class A Delivery Driver Needed!
A local pipe supplier company in Knoxville, TN is now hiring! We are looking for a reliable and hardworking candidate with a Class A driver’s license. This position is temporary but depending on performance and attendance it can become long term. The job can last until the end of January.
Hours: Monday – Friday (No weekends). 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Pay Rate: $15.00 an hour.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must apply with a resume
- Must interview first
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Must have a Class A driver’s license (Class B is questionable)
Duties: Making local deliveries around the Knoxville area. In some cases, the longest drive can be between an hour or an hour and a half, and sometimes to Nashville (but no overnight, you will be returning back the same day). This job also requires loading and unloading using a forklift. Must be able and feel comfortable to read a ticket and be able to pick your own orders. There is lifting involved, usually up to 70 lbs.
